I’m Sam Vitharana, the proud owner of SV Designs & Hospitality.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I’ve always been creative and loved furniture, as I enjoyed witnessing the great color combinations, which reminded me of beautiful art on a canvas. It inspired me to join a furniture store as a salesman.

After learning the ropes, I started to excel and was the best salesman in the company. However, I felt that my hard work and innovative ideas were not getting recognized by my boss, which motivated me to launch a furniture store, with just five-bedroom and mattress sets.

Since launching my furniture enterprise eleven years ago, I’ve noticed that the industry has evolved, and clients are demanding trendier products at affordable prices. To meet the client’s expectations, I display over three thousand products, and I’m adding more each month.

I also noticed that interior designers were charging a high price, so I created a great business model where I arrange interior designing for the hospitality sector in my community. I’m able to charge great rates for hotel furniture, due to volume and maintaining excellent business relationships.

I conduct business with honesty, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart is my professionalism and ethical behavior. Hence, my furniture comes with a five-year warranty and is produced in the USA, which my condo and hotel owners appreciate.

I also attribute my success to consistently giving my best for customers, as I care about people’s feelings, and therefore, I want to keep them happy. Consequently, each time a customer has a big smile on their face and thanks me for a great design, it’s rewarding.

When I’m not assisting clients with furniture, I love spending quality time with my wife and two boys. We play tennis, paintball, and even accompany my eldest son to US sanctioned swimming events as he is attempting to qualify for the Junior Olympics. Besides, I hold a private pilot’s license, and my children are also learning to fly in the Civil Air Patrol cadets.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as the owner of an interior design and furniture store in Myrtle Beach, SC, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at
